Sarpy County Neighbors Gather in Papillion to Meet Chris Backemeyer
Lincoln neighbors packed Lee's Chicken to celebrate Chris Backemeyer's birthday over some of the city's best fried chicken. What began as a birthday turned into a real gathering, with supporters both new and familiar pulling up chairs to talk. Their turnout planted the Blue Dot in a brand-new county for the very first time. For a movement built one dot at a time, a full room in a new place is exactly the point.
